Tangled Blessings: Study Abroad is an expansion pack for Tangled Blessings in the vein of Winter Break. It is intended to be used during the space between two years of study and doesn’t replace any of the prompts in a normal game.
It can work as a stand alone game, though it requires that you have a character in mind as well as a Rival and maybe some other NPCs to make the journey with you.
Like the original game, this one uses a Tarot deck to play, but it also requires 3-4 six-sided dice for the finale.
In addition to the standard content and trigger warnings of Tangled Blessings, this game deals with the Fae realm and touches on things like kidnapping, illusion, and manipulation. There is also alcohol and some mild drug use.
Your character may be changed by this experience in more ways than one. If you draw a prompt that makes you uncomfortable, draw again or choose another.

What a fun way to generate a fae-bound adventure! I love how this can fold into a Tangled Blessings playthrough pretty easily! The prompts are luscious and the narrative text is evocative. There are a lot of outcomes that will produce thousands of unique playthroughs that are sure to have interesting influence over the main game. Thanks for submitting to the jam!
